In a shocking revelation, former Prime Minister Imran Khan's sister Aleema Khan has claimed that the government had offered her brother a release deal in exchange for certain compromises.   Speaking to media outlets, Aleema described the alleged deal as a ploy to distract Imran from his political activities and weaken the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

Aleema Khan asserted that the proposal involved Imran Khan's withdrawal from politics and his willingness to step down as PTI leader.   "The government is trying to stifle his voice by offering deals that compromise his principles. He has refused to budge," he said.

Imran Khan, who is currently lodged in Attock Jail, is facing several legal challenges.   PTI supporters say the cases are politically motivated efforts to suppress the opposition, while the government maintains they are legal proceedings.

The alleged offer comes at a time when political uncertainty is on the rise in Pakistan.   Critics of the government have accused it of suppressing dissenting voices and undermining democratic principles.

Aleema Khan's statement has sparked debate, with PTI leaders reiterating their commitment to stand by Imran Khan.   Senior party members condemned what they termed "pressure tactics" and reiterated their commitment to democratic principles.

Meanwhile, government officials have neither confirmed nor denied the claims.   Analysts speculate that the alleged deal could signal the government's concern over the PTI's growing influence despite the challenges it faces.

These developments highlight deepening political divisions in Pakistan and raise questions about how far stakeholders are willing to go in pursuit of their agendas.   Observers note that the coming weeks could be crucial in determining the country's political trajectory,
